February is right in the heart of the Festival season and we’ve got the Transmission Festival taking place at the Sydney Showground (Spotless Stadium) on the 8th. The event should attract a huge crowd and the trains will be packed so why not book your direct group transport there and back with Shire Shuttle Bus!
We’ve also got plenty of races taking place across the month at the venues at Rosehill, Randwick, Canterbury and Warwick Farm. The race days take place across the weekends and some during the week as well when things are busy, so book in early to avoid disappointment!
Since we’re in the heat of the summer, there will be many cruise ships departing from both the Overseas Terminal and White Bay over the month of February so feel free to ring us if you’re going on a cruise and don’t fancy carrying your luggage on the train and would like the comfort of a direct door to door service. Transport fun fact for February: Since the Sydney light rail recently expanded to the city and Eastern suburbs, it may be worth remembering that the 25th of February marks 59 years since the last operating lines of the original Sydney tram network closed. The original Sydney tram network operated from 1879 to 1961 and at its peak, was the second largest in the British Commonwealth (after London).
