At Shire Shuttle Bus we pride ourselves on providing a reliable and punctual service and strive to make every journey a memorable one. All of our buses are well maintained and presented and drivers are always polite and friendly.

What are your office hours?

We strive to answer all calls from clients. We are contactable 24/7.

What areas do you service?

We service the Sutherland Shire, Illawarra and Sydney Metro.

How many people can you transport?

We have 6 buses available. 3×25 seater Rosa Buses (sits 24 passengers), 2×14 seater Commuter Buses (sits 13 passengers), and 1×9 seater Hyundai Imax (sits 8 passengers). All buses are air-conditioned, clothed seats and fully seat belted.

Do you have suitable seats for children?

We have a range of baby capsules, baby seats and boosters available at no extra charge. Please notify us of the age of your children if you require any children seats.

Will our luggage fit on the bus?

It would be helpful to know approx. how many luggage bags you are intending on carrying. We do have 4 trailers available in various sizes for any large groups. All trailers are enclosed and carpeted.

What is the best way to book?

You can book by calling us, sending us an email or filling out a form on our website. To ensure we have all correct details, we do prefer email/form on our website.

Do you take last minute bookings?

To avoid misunderstandings and inconveniences, we strongly recommend you to book in advance. In case of last minute bookings & emergencies, give us a call on 1300 857 589 and we will try our best to arrange an available bus.

I have an airport trip. How long should I allow for the journey?

Depending on suburb of pickup and traffic conditions, we suggest to allow 60 minutes.
Recommended arrival times by Sydney airport is: 2.5-3 hour prior to your departure time for International Airport. 1 hour prior to departure time for Domestic Airport.
We will advise you a recommended time if your suggested pickup time is cutting it fine to your flight’s departure time.

Where do we wait for our driver at the Airport and Cruise Ship Terminal?

For International Terminal, our drivers wait at the McDonalds with a sign of your name. When coming out of airport gates veer right and walk to McDonalds.
For Domestic Terminal, our drivers will be waiting at the baggage carousel of your flight, with a sign of your name.
For the Cruise Terminals, we wait in the bus bay at 9:00AM. Please notify cruise staff that your transport is at 9:00AM, we will wait until 9:15AM, with a sign of your name.

What happens if my flight is cancelled or delayed?

Please notify us as soon as possible if there are any changes to your flight.
For delayed flights, please also notify us if possible, but our drivers keep aware of the status of all incoming flights.

How do I pay for my booking?

For airport and cruise ship bookings, please pay cash to your driver.
For wine tours, race days, weddings and hens day, we may require a deposit via electronic transfer. Our details will be provided upon booking. This deposit is refunded on the next working day after the service. Full payment is paid at the commencement of your journey.

What is your security deposit policy & cancellation policy?

Security deposits that are held for pre booked jobs are refunded next business day into the customer’s nominated account. The security deposit is only withheld if the bus returns damaged or requires more than basic cleaning Eg someone being sick on the bus.
If a cancellation occurs, deposits received for pre booked jobs will be 100% refunded provided three days or more notice is given. The full deposit will be retained by Shire Shuttle Bus if cancellation notice is less than 3 days prior job.

Do you allow alcohol consumption on the bus?

Alcohol in moderation is allowed on the bus, in plastic cups, and only on the way in. We do not allow clients to drink on the return trip. Shire Shuttle Bus reserves the right to refuse to transport any person whose behaviour is considered to be abusive and could pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).
